Florin Tiutiu is the current President of the Romanian Farmers' Club from January 1 to June 30, 2023.
Florin Tiutiu is one of the successful farmers in the Oltenia area, majority shareholder of the companies
IRIS TITULESCU SA and EROS TITULESCU SA. He is a founding member of the Romanian Farmers' Club
and is part of the Association's Board of Directors.
Started in 1994, the business was initially based on two levels – plant production and agricultural
services. Currently, it has reached over 5,800 ha, partly owned and partly leased, and about 100
employees. In addition, it continues to provide services for agriculture (harvesting, maintenance,
treatments, soil preparation, etc.) as well as processing (milling).
The farmer also acquired a pig farm, being able to produce around 13,000 pigs per cycle (about 39,000-
40,000 annually).
Nicolaie Apopi

Nicolaie Apopi is one of the successful farmers in the Banat region. He leads two of the most well-known
companies with an agricultural profile in Romania: Agro Baden Banat SRL and Popagra SRL, and between
July 1 and December 31, 2022, he held the position of President of the Romanian Farmers' Club.
In 2000, he founded the company Agro Baden Banat SRL with a field of activity in agribusiness and
began trading with agricultural machinery imported from Germany and the multiplication of barley for
beer.
In parallel with the trade of machinery and inputs for agriculture, he starts working on a land area of 40
ha. In 2004 he reaches a cultivated area of 400 ha and establishes the company Popagra SRL to access
European funds, thanks to which he manages to perform in agriculture and reach today an area of
approximately 2500 ha. It owns a fleet of state-of-the-art high-performance agricultural machinery,
which ensures the comfort of carrying out the work on time and with quality, in order to obtain the
desired yield per surface unit.
During this period, Nicolaie Apopi continues to develop the local agribusiness of agricultural machinery,
spare parts, inputs and grains, having arranged his own storage spaces with a capacity of approximately
18,000 tons, with a fleet of 5 trucks for transporting grains and packaged goods.
Nicolaie Apopi graduated from the Faculty of Agro-Food Processing at the University of Agricultural
Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat. Afterwards, he followed a training program in Agriculture in
the Land of Baden Würtemberg Germany for 6 months.
Vonica Maniu

Vonica Maniu
Vonica Maniu owns an individual enterprise with the same name, which has seven employees, and the
field of activity is agriculture.
Over time, Vonica Maniu has accessed loans from Romanian banks and European funds for the purchase
of land, for running the current activity or for investments in silos, warehouses, mechanical workshop,
tipper, offices, concrete platform, management and supervision of the activity, everything at a high
technological level, bringing added value to the production, through drying, conditioning, storage in the
best conditions, fast delivery, as well as repair of machinery within the farm at any time
Currently, it manages an area of approximately 2,500 hectares of arable land, cereals and oilseeds
He believes that technology plays a revolutionary role in the agricultural field, since with the help of
specialized programs he manages to keep track of stocks and consumption on the farm.

Executive Manager of UNCSV, Florentin BERCU is an agronomist. During his studies he attended various
theoritical and practical stages in England, Scotland, Italy, France and Belgium. He graduated with a
doctoral and postdoctoral degree in which he analyzed the social and economic activity of modern
agricultural cooperatives, the factors determining the decline of cooperatives and the impact on
producers and food industry. He has more than 12 years of experience in the agri-food professional
organisations sector. The last 5 years have been dedicated to the efficiency of the activity of agricultural
cooperatives in Romania.
