Captain Daniel-Cornel TANASESCU was born on 13th of October 1973. He graduated the Naval Academy “Mircea cel Batran” in 1997, when he was promoted to Lieutenant, JG. He began his military career as Gunnery Officer on board Frigate „Marasesti” (F111), between 1998 - 2003. He continued as Operations Officer of Frigate” Marasesti”, between 2003 -2008. From 2008 until 2011 he was appointed commanding officer of corvette” Eustatiu Sebastian” (FS 264). Upon National Defence University - Master Programmes graduation in 2011, he was appointed as executive officer of Frigate” Marasesti”.
On May 2017 he was appointed as the Commanding Officer of the Frigate” Marasesti”.
Between 2021 -2022 he has appointed as chief of staff at the 56th Frigate Flotilla and Deputy Chief of Staff for Training at the Fleet Command.
On May, 1st he has assumed the position of Head of Planning and Capabilities Development Branch at the ROU Navy Headquarters in Bucharest.
His post-graduation education includes a Master's Degree in Security Studies from the University of Bucharest (2005), Joint Strategic Leadership Course at the National Defence University “Carol I”, Bucharest (2019).
He also graduated several career courses in Romania or abroad in the field of maritime warfare and staff duties.

Captain Valentin-Marian TOMA was born on 14 July 1973 in Plopșoru, Gorj County.
In 1991 he graduated from the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Military High School in Constanta, and in 1996 from the "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy, Underwater Weapons Section. After graduation, he was assigned as commander of the artillery and underwater weapons combat unit at the 212 Torpedo Fast Boat of the 126 Torpedo Fast Boat Squadron in Mangalia. In 1998, he was promoted within the same Squadron to the position of executive officer at the 211 Torpedo Fast Boat.
Between 2000 and 2003, he successively held the positions of operations officer at Corvette 260 "Admiral Petre Bărbuneanu" and commander of the underwater combat service at Corvette 264 "Rear Admiral Eustațiu Sebastian" of the 50 Corvette Squadron.
Then, for one year, he was a specialist officer in the Training Office at the Naval Operational Headquarters, and from 2004 to 2007 he was a specialist officer in the field of training in the Planning, Evaluation and Training Office at the Naval Staff Forces Headquarters.
His professional training started in 2000 with the participation in the advanced course for ship commanders organized at the "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy, continued and in 2006 he graduated from the Brigade Tactical Staff Officers Course organized by the "Carol I" National Defence University in Bucharest.
Between 2007 and 2009, he served as a executive officer of the Corvette 264 "Rear Admiral Eustațiu
Sebastian" of the 50 Corvette Squadron.
From 2009 to 2012, he was a specialist officer in the Evaluation and Training Office at the Fleet Command Headquarters. In 2009, he attended for six months the "Staff College - Naval Forces" in Newport, USA and in 2011 he participated in Operation "Atalanta" as staff officer at the Operational Command Headquarters in Northwood, UK.
From 2012 to 2014, he attended a Master's degree in Military Sciences at the National University of Defense "Carol I", after graduation he was promoted to Commanding Officer of the fast Missile Fast Patrol Boat "Seagull" within the 150 Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron.
In 2016, he was appointed to the position of Head of the Operations Management Office within the Naval Operational Component Headquarters. A year later, in 2017, he graduated from the Naval Forces Leadership Course, a postgraduate program for continuous training and development, at the National University of Defense "Carol I" and, in the same year, he was appointed executive officer of the Frigate "Mărășești".
As of 2 August 2021, he has been appointed to perform the duties of Commanding Officer of the Frigate "Mărășești".
On 1 August 2022 he was appointed Commanding Officer of the Frigate "Marasesti". In 2022 he obtained the scientific title of PhD in Military Sciences.
Throughout his career he has participated in numerous NATO and NATO-PfP exercises, the most important being Strong Resolve, Allied Action, Cooperative Partner, Black Sea Partnership, Rescue Eagle, BLACKSEAFOR, Sea Breeze, ASW/LIVE.

Navy captain Marian RÎȘNOVEANU was born on 27 th of September 1970 in Brăila. He graduated from the high school number 4 ”Gh. Munteanu Murgoci” in 1989.
Between 1989-1994 he attended the courses of the Naval Academy ”Mircea cel Bătrân” – specializing in Naval Electromechanics. He was promoted to Lieutenant jr grade in 1992, and when he finished the studies in 1994 he was appointed commander of the electromechanical combat unit on Torpedo Boat 210 from 126 Torpedo Boat Squadron Mangalia.
In 1995 he was appointed commander of the electromechanical combat unit on command ship Siret from the 24 River Brigade in town Brăila. From 2001 to 2005 he served as specialist officer at 67 th Riverine Gunboat Squadron level from Brăila. From 2005 to 2006 he worked as an specialist officer in the logistics department and in the trainning office.
Since 2007 he has been a tehnical deputy at the N4 Logistics office and in 2014 he has been appointed Chief of logistics in the same squadron.
In 2017 he was appointed Chief of logistics in the River Flotilla Headquarters ”Mihail Kogălniceanu”, and from 2019 he was promoted Chief of Staff at the same headquarters.
Personal and professional development includes courses in the contry as follows: The specialization course Ecology and Environment Protection (2002), Basic English course (2003), Staff course Management of Logistics Systems in Naval Forces (2005), Intermediate English course (2008), English course Military terminology (2010), Training course Technical locators (2012), Postgraduate course in defence resources management for leadership staff (2016), Masters of leadership interarms specialization ”Leadership interarms in Naval Forces” organized in the form of low- frequency by the National Defence University Carol I ( 2019-2020).

Captain Cristian ABAIANIȚI was commissioned in 2001 as ensign, his first assignments onboard ships were as navigational department head and later on as executive officer of a Fast Patrol Boat.
At Fast Patrol Squadron level he served as operations officer followed by ASuW and AAW department head onboard Frigate „MĂRĂȘEȘTI” (F111) until 2012. Between 2012 and 2014 he held the command of fast patrol boat „ZBORUL” (188) as commanding officer. Upon National Defence University graduation in 2016, he was appointed also as commanding officer of corvette „EUGENIU ROȘCA” (263) and, later, chief of staff of corvette squadron as being currently.
Captain Cristian ABAIANIȚI performed duties as Chief of Staff in the Romanian task Group in 2019’s rotation, as CTF during multinational exercise POSEIDON 2021 lead by Romania and, between January and July 2022, as Chief of Staff in Standing Naval Maritime Group 1 (SNMG1).
A navigational officer by trade, he graduated from „MIRCEA CEL BĂTRÂN” Naval Institute in 2001. His military education includes several courses in Romania complemented by a master’s degree (2016) and a PhD’s degree (2020) in military science.

Captain (N) DINCĂ ADRIAN works in the Naval Component Command since 2021. He graduated the Naval Academy "Mircea cel Bătrân", Constanța, 1997 Naval Radioelectronics class. He holds a master's degree in Joint Command Naval Forces at the University of National Defense "Carol I", and he is a graduate of the Naval Command College in Newport, Rhode Island, USA, class of 2022.
Throughout his career, he held various positions within the Romanian Naval Forces, and as a junior officer, his previous main duty assignments include Communications officer onboard two types of FPBs (torpedo and missile boats) and various staff officer positions within FPB Squadron staff.
In 2011 he was appointed as Chief of Operations and Training and in 2016 he served as the Deputy Commander in the FPB Squadron. Between 2018-2021, he held the position of Commander of the Tarantul I type Fast Patrol Boat Squadron in Mangalia.
