Kristian Ruby is a widely recognised expert with a strong communication profile and
extensive experience in political affairs. He joined Eurelectric from Wind Europe,
where he served as Chief Policy Officer and was in charge of development and
implementation of the political strategy.
Prior to this, Ruby worked as a journalist and served seven years as a public servant in
the Danish Ministries of Environment, and Climate and Energy and in the European
Commission in the cabinet of the former Climate Action chief, Connie Hedegaard.

Agnieszka Kaźmierczak is Director-General of the Euratom Supply
Agency, an independent public agency with mission to secure
supply of nuclear materials (including nuclear fuel) for all usersin
the European Atomic Energy Community.
Graduate of the Polish National School of Public Administration,
Agnieszka has served for over 20 years as a senior manager in the
public service at National and EU level, as well as one of the Big
4 professional services firms.
During her posting to the Polish Ministry of Finance, Agnieszka
developed the financial control system for EU funds and
introduced internal auditing into the Polish public sector.
In 2005, Agnieszka joined the European Commission and as Director in the auditing service
launched risk-based internal audit in EU agencies and bodies. Later, as resource Director, she
supervised financial resources and programmes in the areas of energy and transport,
cultivating best practices in governance and accountability.
Agnieszka’s vision for the Euratom Supply Agency includes continued alignment with EU
energy policy, in particular security of supply, reinforcement of the Agency’s market
monitoring role and closer contacts with stakeholders in industry, research and national
administrations.

Electrotechnical engineer, graduated from the Technical University of Prague, Ondrej Safar is well familiar with the Balkan energy markets. Until the half of 2018, Mr. Safar was the CEO of Sepaş Enerji, a Turkish member of CEZ Group, previously coordinating the Group’s operations in Bulgaria and Romania.
He joined the CEZ team in April 2004. In November 2005, he came in Oltenia to join its colleagues from CEZ Group in Romania. In a 7-year term, he dealt with the actual construction of the Fântânele-Cogealac wind farm, as well as with the management of the renewable energy - hydro and wind power facilities or the coordination of CEZ Vânzare.
Starting August 1st, 2018, Ondrej Safar became the Country Manager and Chairman of CEZ Romania, taking the helm of CEZ affairs in Romania.

Inginer electrotehnist, absolvent al Universității Tehnice din Praga, Ondrej Safar este un bun cunoscător al piețelor de energie din Balcani. Până la jumătatea anului 2018, dl. Safar a condus Sepaș Enerji, companie turcă membră a Grupului CEZ, anterior coordonând operațiuni ale Grupului în Bulgaria și România.
S-a alăturat echipei CEZ în aprilie 2004. În noiembrie 2005, lua drumul Olteniei pentru a se alătura colegilor din Grupul CEZ în România. În cadrul unui mandat de 7 ani, s-a ocupat de construcția propriu-zisă a Parcului Eolian Fântânele-Cogealac, dar și de managementul facilităților de producere a energiei regenerabile - hidro și eoliană sau de coordonarea CEZ Vânzare.
Începând cu 1 august 2018, Ondrej Safar a preluat activitatea CEZ în România, devenind noul Country Manager și Președintele Directoratului CEZ România.

Mathilde Blanchard is Policy Advisor within GIE, a position she has held since 2019. GIE is the
voice of the European gas infrastructure operators, including gas pipelines, storages and LNG
regasification terminals, and represents more than 65 members from 26 European countries.
Earlier in her career, Mathilde was part of the external relation department of ENGIE, a leading
global company in low-carbon energy and services. Prior to that, she also worked at the
Delegation of the European Union to Congo on the certification of wood products and forest
governance.
Mathilde holds a double Master of Arts in European affairs from Sciences Po Lille in France
and Aston University in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Zoltan Nagy – Bege has more than 10 years experience working on energy regulatory activities since 2007 as General Director for gas market, regulations for electricity, renewables, energy efficiency and cogeneration. Also he was involved on approving the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) regulations as member of the Regulatory Board of ANRE for 5 years.
Since October 2017, Mr. Zoltan Nagy – Bege was appointed as ANRE Vice-President for 5 years term by the Romanian Parliament and he is the Head of the Energy Efficiency Department within ANRE.
ANRE is an autonomous administrative body under Parliamentary control, entirely self- financed and independent as regards its decision-making process, organisation and functioning, whose scope of activity is to issue, approve and monitor the implementation of the national-wide binding regulatory framework required for the proper functioning of the electricity, heat and natural gas sectors and markets in terms of efficiency, competition, transparency and consumer protection.
Prior to working to the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr Zoltan Nagy- Bege has an important activity since 2000 on managing companies and being member on regulatory board for the Romanian administration.
He graduated the Economical Sciences and Management from Babes - Bolyai University from Cluj Napoca in 2000 and took part in several training programs in management like CODECS – The Open University Business School in 2008-2009.
In the context of the national and European energy targets, Mr. Zoltan Nagy-Bege has carried out an important role regarding the implementation of the current energy legislation and elaborating the secondary regulations, by promoting the constructive dialogue with all the stakeholders in the energy regulatory activity and the sustained dissemination of the relevant energy legislation at national and European level.

After eight years in PwC, he received a proposal to lead the biggest group of companies in
Moldova, with entities specialized in real estate, hospitality, finance-banking and media
industries. Being empowered by the shareholders, as the CEO of the group, in a few months, he
set up a management team; restructured the group on international level (developing the best
tax corporate structure); brought in the corporate culture and standards; also developed new
businesses in different industries.
One year later he has started the political career, gradually holding positions as Member of the
Parliament, Deputy Prime-minister and Minister of Economy, and finally as Speaker of the
Moldovan Parliament.
Being in politics, he has gotten better understanding of public affairs, strongly improved his
communication and public appearance skills and built strong and trustful relationship with
foreign political leaders, prominent businessmen and notorious think-tankers.

Alexandru Floristean is an expert in market, legal and energy policy, with a focus on the Clean Hydrogen sector. Currently he advises, as an operating partner, Five T Hydrogen, a private investment fund set out to finance the foundation of the hydrogen economy.
Previously, he has been leading Hydrogen Europe’s intelligence department helping the entire sector develop its understanding of the market and regulatory framework in order to develop Clean Hydrogen technologies in Europe.
Mr. Floristean created the Clean Hydrogen Monitor, a yearly report presenting key indicators on the Hydrogen sector in Europe.
Mr. Floristean has coordinated several EU projects, including the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Observatory (www.fchobservatory.eu) which provides a worldwide analysis of policies which may impact (negatively and positively) the deployment of hydrogen technologie as well as the Hylaw project (www.hylaw,eu), which has researched and published (in the context of a large scale, user-friendly, online database) information on key legal and administrative processes relevant to the deployment of hydrogen technology.
More broadly, Mr. Floristean has more than 11 years of experience undertaking projects on behalf of European Institutions such as the EU Commission and decentralized agencies
Alexandru has been involved, in more than twenty research studies, evaluations and impact assessments in several area such as Mobility and Transport: (Hydrogen Law, Intelligent transport systems, the Trans-European transport network); Financial programmes (Horizon2020, Cohesion and Structural funds, SOLID funds in the area of migration); Financial Instruments (LGTT, Progress Micro-Finance); Taxation (e.g. aggressive tax planning, excise duties, VAT) and Home Affairs (Monitoring missions on Solid funds, Evaluation of the EIF), etc.

Alexandru Bodislav is a world class expert in business intelligence, Artificial Intelligence (AI), economic growth, corporate governance, multi-level governance, rare natural resources and strategy in the domain of energy and oil, while in the same time he is the CEO of Infinitum Group (company dedicated to accelerating technological advance and renewable energy) and founder of Bodislav & Associates (a boutique company dedicated to special tasks, like acquiring rare minerals, due diligence for M&A in strategic sectors and regulating, consulting and political lobbying).
Having an undergraduate degree, two masters, a PhD, a post-doctorate and executive courses accomplished in Europe and the US, the academic expertise is in corporate governance, business intelligence, AI, governmental development and regulating/deregulating energy markets. Alexandru is also an associate professor at the Department of Economics and Economic Policy from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, teaching Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Applied Macroeconomics, European Economics and Multi-level Governance and financing in the European system. One of the main acomplishments in the sector of natural resources was the fact that he was part of the team that sold the second biggest flawless diamond in history, the Lesedi La Rona diamond (translated from tswana: „Our light”), between Lucara Diamond Corporation and Graff Diamonds (a 53 million USD transaction, closed on 26th of September 2017). For the entrepreneurial spirit and versatility brought to business at European level, he received from Business Elite Awards the „40 under 40” Award at European level for the year 2020 and was nominated as CEO of the year for the year 2020 by The World CEO Rankings. Cosmin Dumitrescu is a career diplomat and the Consul General of Romania in Los Angeles. He has been appointed in the position since the end of March, 2017. The main priority of his mission as the senior diplomat of Romania on the West Coast of the United States of America is the consolidation of the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the United States of America. A special focus of his activity as the Consul General of Romania is to enhance the level of bilateral cooperation in the framework of the economic and academic dimensions of the Strategic Partnership. His consular territorial competence include the states of Utah, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, and Washington.
As a result of excellence in his diplomatic and consular activity Hon. Cosmin Dumitrescu was elected in 2019 Chairman of the Committee of the European Union Member States Consuls General in Los Angeles. Under his leadership, the Committee of the E.U. CLAUDIU CREȚU is involved in activities aimed at optimizing and ensuring the continuity of the centralized heat supply service in conditions of energy efficiency.
In this regard, he coordinates, starting with 2017, the reorganization and restructuring process of ELCEN, a company in insolvency, the main supplier of heat and hot water for the District Heating system in Bucharest and, at the same time, one of the most important electricity producers at the national level.
Previously, he was part of RADET (currently Termoenergetica) management, the operator of Bucharest District Heating networks.
He is experienced in internal control and good governance in Public Administration, Ethics, Communication and Negotiation, Critical Infrastructure, Change Management. He lectured on Ethics and Integrity, Negotiation and Public Policies. He addressed operational methods of information analysis in order to issue proposals for improvement in relation to identifying and assessing risks and weaknesses in the Public Administration sector. He holds an Executive MBA degree as a result of participating in the courses of INDE-CNAM Romanian-French MBA Program, and is currently a PhD student in Management at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
