Dr. Diana Loreta Păun (born 1968) graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the same university. She is an endocrinologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Endocrinology at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
She has been working at the "C. I. Parhon" National Institute of Endocrinology as a physician, researcher, professor and as manager between 2006-2015.
She holds a certificate in complementary studies in Healthcare Management and a master’s degree in "Management of Public Health and Medical Services". Also, she attended several training programs in management, quality auditor, trainer and expert in public procurement.
Dr. Diana Loreta Păun is a member of national professional associations (The Romanian Association of Clinical Endocrinology, The Romanian Society of Endocrinology) and of international professional associations (The German Society of Endocrinology, The European Society of Endocrinology (ESE). She is also a member of the Romanian Chapter of the AACE (American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists) and its president between 2011-2012 and 2017-2019.
She has published studies and scientific papers in nationally and internationally recognized journals, as well as works on health management.
She has been involved, as a manager or team member, in national and international research projects and in education and life-long learning programs.
Dr. Diana Loreta Păun was appointed State Adviser on 1 June 2015 and on 23 December 2019 she was appointed Presidential Adviser.

Theodora Benedek, este Profesor de cardiologie, cardiologie intervențională și medicină internă la Universitatea de Medicină, Farmacie, Științe și Tehnologie „G.E.Palade” Târgu Mureș, Șefa Clinicii de Cardiologie din Spitalul Clinic Judetean de Urgenta Târgu Mureș și Coordonatorul Național al Programelor de Cardiologie al Casei Naționale de Asigurări de Sănătate. Are o experiență de 15 ani la Comisia Europeană, ca expert, vice-chair și raportor în panelul de științele vieții, fiind și coordonatorul Laboratorului de Cercetare Avansata în Imagistică Cardiacă Multimodală din UMFST Tîrgu Mureș. Este Fellow al Societății Europene de Cardiologie, Fellow al Societății Europene de Imagistică Cardiovasculară, și Fellow al American College of Cardiology. A absolvit atât Facultatea de Medicină din UMFST Tg.Mureș cât și Facultatea de Științe Economice din Universitatea Petru Maior Tg.Mureș, are un masterat în management sanitar iar din anul 205 are titlul de habilitat. Are competențe naționale și europene în ecocardiografie, ecografie transesofagiană, cardiologie intervențională, implantare de stimulatoare intracardiace și electrofiziologie intervențională. Are un factor de impact de peste 300, a participat la 47 de granturi de cercetare sau studii clinice, din care 5 în calitate de coordonator național și 10 ca investigator principal.

Dr. Stefan Busnatu is a person guided by his desire to make a significant contribution to the most important aspect of a society: healthcare. He has harmoniously combined his medical, teaching and research career with his management tasks. He has leadership skills, vision and integrity, and constantly devotes his energy to innovation and development of the healthcare sector.
He is a Cardiologist at Bagdasar Arseni Emergency Hospital, Head of Department and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. He is also a strong believer that education is essential for the development of a solid society. He communicates to educate through both courses and seminars dedicated to students, and thereby makes a significant contribution to the education of Romania's future doctors, not lastly using social media, press and his personal website to educate cardiovascular patients.
In 2022, he was elected member of the Secondary Prevention and Rehabilitation Core Group (ESC/EAPC) and the EAPC Young Community Core Group. Dr. Busnatu initiates and promotes communication campaigns to emphasize the importance of heart health and to promote the adoption of healthy habits all throughout the year. He inspires people to make choices that better serves their hearts every day. He believes in the power of example, rides his bike every day and does lots of sports. He has always explained that prevention is the key to sustainable health.
He supports and encourages local innovation and collaboration initiatives in the area of healthcare. Dr. Busnatu also coordinates the Innovation and eHealth Center, UMFCD, which he also uses to take actions in various areas. He has been and still is directly involved in European health innovation projects such as Horizon2020 InteropEHRate and vCare. Their aim is to create digital enablers of large steps taken towards insuring a better quality of life for patients.
