Raluca SÎMBOTIN is a seasoned public affairs professional with more than 12 years of experience in the public and private sectors and proven expertise in healthcare.
She is currently working for MSD as Associate Director Government Relations. In her position, Raluca is leading the Policy team for Romania & Moldova and is responsible of external stakeholder management, developing and executing policy strategies as to improve the healthcare environment and patients access to treatment.
She is an active contributor to the initiatives developed within the Healthcare Task Force of the Coalition for the Development of Romania (CDR) and chair of the task forces on National Cancer Control within the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and the Association of International Medicines Manufacturers (ARPIM).
Prior to joining MSD, she acted as an Advisor to the Minister for Public Consultation and Civic Dialogue. Raluca provided significant contribution to legislative initiatives on access to public information, public consultation and the Transparency Registry. Before that, Raluca was an Advocacy Manager within Civil Society Development Foundation, the most significant resource center for NGOs in Romania.
Raluca is Past Vice-curator of the Global Shapers Bucharest Hub, part of an international hubs network developed under the World Economic Forum and alumna of the Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, under the Leaders for Justice Program.
She holds a B.A. in Law from the University of Bucharest and a M.A. in International Relations and European Integration from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies Bucharest.
